Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer II in the
Data Platform department.
Key Responsibilities
Drive architectural and technical strategy across teams while
engaging in hands-on engineering
Collaborate with engineering managers, product managers, and
internal data customers to design robust end-to-end solutions
Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions while building
alignment and support for ideas across stakeholders
Required Qualifications
8+ years of industry experience
Ability to balance hands-on engineering with strategic planning
Familiarity with tools such as Kafka, Airflow, Spark, SQL, Python,
Java/Scala
Experience with big data cloud platforms, particularly GCP
including BigQuery, Dataproc, and Dataflow
Collaborative mindset and comfort working with diverse roles and
departments
