Job Description:

A company is looking for an Inpatient Hospital Coding Coordinator (Remote based in US).

Key Responsibilities

Review and resolve coding coordinator designated DNFC code holds and provide education to coders
Work on coding/billing editor worklists, including DRG downgrade reviews and appeal writing
Assist with onboarding new coding staff and conduct system training and prebill audit reviews

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of acute hospital coding experience
Skilled in MS Office suite
Ability to analyze coding-related reports and take action
Associate's degree in Health Information Management
RHIT or CCS certification
